1966 was a very good year, England won the World Cup, and the RRA association was formed.
The association plays an active part in our village, checking planning applications, dealing with traffic, policing issues and campaigning for improvements to our village and it’s amenities. RRA celebrates the past and looks forward to the future, working alongside the district and parish councils, to keep members informed through our on-line newsletter.
We hold bi-monthly open meetings, where you can enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment, such as: interesting speakers on a variety and range of topics, fabulous singers or a music quiz, always with a raffle and a cup of tea or coffee – where Committee members are present and available if you would like to talk to them. They are held on Saturdays in the Rustington Methodist Church Hall, Claigmar Road, Rustington BN16 2NL, from 2pm until 4pm.
We currently organise 2 excursions a year, in the spring and autumn; details of which are published in our on-line newsletter to members and posters are placed at multiple locations in and around the village to advertise them for everyone to attend.
